What I Believe
Let’s get this out of the way...
I believe in human rights, full stop. That means Black Lives Matter, trans rights are human rights, bodily autonomy is non-negotiable, and love is love. It means actively dismantling the systems that uphold white supremacy, patriarchy, toxic capitalism, and any other bullshit that tells people they are less than.
I do not—and will not—work with anyone who doesn’t share those fundamental beliefs.
My Core Values
Curiosity
Questions lead to clarity. Exploration and experimentation are core to creative momentum and sustainable strategy.
Simplicity
Simpler systems work better, faster, and longer. Clarity is always more valuable than complexity.
Integrity
Build a business that feels good from the inside out—especially when no one is watching.
Care
Every interaction holds weight. Treat clients, collaborators, and yourself with respect, attentiveness, and honesty.
Agency
Build in space for choice—without centering individualism. People thrive when supported in finding what works for them, not just what’s prescribed.
Operating Guidelines
Depth Over Volume
Space Creates Quality
No Task Rabbiting
Every Offer is Optional
Bunny Trails Are Sacred
Clients Are Collaborators
Minimal Team, Maximum Support
Thriving is Non-Negotiable
Vision for Jacki Hayes & Co.
Jacki Hayes & Co. exists to support small business owners—particularly creatives and visionaries from underrepresented communities—in building businesses that work for them, not the other way around.
This business is rooted in a belief that businesses can be humane, personal, and flexible—and still profitable. By supporting those often excluded from traditional entrepreneurship support, Jacki helps create ripple effects in their communities, promote visible role models, and make space for thriving outside the grind.
Mission for Jacki Hayes & Co.
To provide strategic support and thought partnership that helps visionary, values-led entrepreneurs simplify how they run their business—so they can stop spinning and start building momentum.
The focus is on co-creating custom strategies that turn big ideas into aligned, doable next steps. Practical, spacious, creative problem-solving built for real humans.
why this matters to Jacki Hayes & Co.
Small businesses drive community transformation—especially when led by people from underrepresented communities. These founders face more barriers and often fewer resources. By helping them build systems that are simple, human, and sustainable, they’re more likely to succeed long-term—and the ripple effects are powerful.
When these businesses thrive, they create:
Jobs and economic stability
Community-focused reinvestment
Flexible, human-centered workplaces
Visible role models and legacy businesses
This work is one small but potent way to challenge extractive, individualist business norms—and build something better.
