AI Usage Statement

I use Generative AI as an operational and marketing partner. It helps me organize, review, and catch things I’d otherwise miss. AI doesn’t do my thinking, and it doesn’t write for me.

What stays with me

  • The writing. Every blog post, email, and caption you read from me is mine. AI may review a draft, but I write the words.

  • The decisions. Decisions about my business (and yours) get made by people.

  • The stories. Client stories and testimonials come from real clients, shared with their permission. Nothing is invented.

I use Claude (by Anthropic) to:

Make sense of conversations and data

  • Pull key points, action items, and quotes from call transcripts, only with the client’s consent and with names and identifying details removed

  • Analyze market research data, including interview transcripts. Participants are told about this before they book, and all identifying information is removed before a transcript is uploaded.

  • Run my internal monthly and quarterly goal reviews

  • Track metrics and KPIs

Turn my own material into documentation

  • Turn my video walkthrough transcripts into written SOPs

  • Write alt text, plus video and image descriptions for social media captions

Review what I’ve already written

  • Flag typos, redundant words and phrases, unclear spots, and places where I’m hedging

Think alongside me

  • Brainstorm short pieces like subject lines and headlines (I pick, tweak, or toss them)

  • Ask me hard questions when I’m working through a strategy decision

I use Perplexity to:

  • Find resources and references

I use Lovable to:

  • Build interactive quizzes, audits, and assessments. The content comes from documents I wrote, and Lovable helps me shape it into questions and results. Your answers are never saved.

I use Fathom Notetaker to:

  • Transcribe and summarize client meetings, interviews, and discovery calls. Participants are told about Fathom before they book.

I use Canva AI to:

  • Remove the background from images

In client tools:

I may use the AI features built into a client’s tools to improve system builds and performance, but only with that client’s consent.

Questions about any of this? Ask me. I’m happy to walk through how it works on your project.
